SUP International teste la Hipster Twin 8'0
Cela commença avec un set d’ailerons twin de Mark Richards, et l’idée qu’un twin pourrait fonctionner à merveille en SUP, pour rendre les choses un peu plus fun.
Le résultat dépassa toutes attentes.
La Hipster Twin est une planche plus stable et plus performante que ce qui était disponible sur le marché jusqu’à maintenant. Quand les gens essaient, ils comprennent.
Shape
• Nose large et shape compact permettent d’avoir une planche plus courte et plus stable
• Configuration d’ailerons 2+1 combinée avec le décrochement dans l’outline permet de réaliser des courbes fermées, avec grip et vitesse
• Rocker scoop favori de Scott combiné avec un mono en double concave procurent une sensation d’accélération sans friction
• V sur le tail offre des transitions de rails des plus smooth, donnant l’impression que tout est plus facile
Tous ces éléments rendent les sessions plus longues car plus fun.
En seulement une année, la Hipster Twin est devenue un phénomène mondial, et cela ne fait que commencer.
Hipster Twin "pin" (Same size and volumes and swallow )
Being added alongside the swallow tail version of the Hipster twin is the twin pin version . It's a smalll subtle difference that actually makes quite a large difference in feel. But couldn't replace the swallow tail for the for the fact that nothing would match the swallow tails combination of speed and acceleration.
What it does provide however is
- The ability to drive more vertically up the face.
-smoother rail to rail transition
- ability to pivot turn more vertically off the top. Rolling on the curves off the pin int he tail.
- sits in the hollower part of wave a little better, a la when it's barrelling.
- Fabric play rails. Varying graphics that make it impossible to chip the rails with the paddle, eliminating the need for rail tape.

What has been remarkable about the hipster twni has been the broad ranging appeal it provides with stabilty of generous width to length whilst still providing performance.
From testing inspired by customer request, the HIPSTER TWIN PRO is a call to arms.
Width and rail volume have both been brought down to provide a twinny that excels when the waves get a little juicier.
A step up Hipster twin you might say.
A little more length and a little less width to slim the outline to a more sleek version of its versatile sibling.
Allowing you to take off a little later/ deeper and then push a little harder, whilst still maintaining that accelerated carve that the twin fin provides.
